Easy & Fun Hands-on CODING!

What’s it

What's COBOBLOCKS?

Without computer system and monitor,
whenever and wherever anyone can learn computer coding

  • First Step Coding with COBOBLOCKS!
  • Easy & Fun Hands-on CODING!

Coboblocks is a basic coding tool that allows you to assemble programming commands directly using blocks.
By assembling these command blocks, you can drive a robot car and enjoy diverse actions.
Scratch, the world’s largest coding platform, is used in more than 150 countries and available in 40 different languages.
Coboblocks are electronic blocks (hardware) that can be connected by hand to learn Scratch.
This makes it easy to link learning with Scratch in the future.

Scratch is a project of the Scratch Foundation,
in collaboration with the Lifelong Kindergarten Group
at the MIT Media Lab. See http://scratch.mit.edu

Blocks

The block is an icon-type block of Scratch 3.0 composed
of HW like LEGO. It is easy to hold with the developing
fine motor skills of young children.

How to play with COBOBLOCKS

Playing with Coboblocks is more fun than playing with LEGO!
It is fun to see the robot car move according to the order (logic or algorithm) of the connected command blocks.

* Step 2 first and then Step 1 is also OK.

Step 1

Power on the Robot car.

Step 2

Press the Power button (three seconds)
to connect Coboblocks with the robot
car via Bluetooth automatically.

Accessory

Eight types of Coboblocks Mask (Fire engine, Police car, Dog, Cat, Monkey, Elephant, Lion, Board)
can be printed out with a 3D printer and attached to the robot car for various activities.

From Download menu, all STL files of 8 Coboblocks Mask
(Fire engine, Police car, Dog, Cat, Monkey, Elephant, Lion, Board),
Pen-holder(STL), and Ball-mover(STL) are provided.

Testimonials

It’s like a toy! I like the robot very much. The robot battle is interesting

Jacop Kim, 1st Grader, Evergreen Elementary School, CA

It was amazing to see the coding result by assembling blocks. It was amazing that I could move the cat character..

HyunJoon Lim, 2nd Grader, Kuri Buyang Elementary School

Coding is the creation of a program by sequentially arranging the blocks. It was amazing to code in a different..

About Us

About Us

COBO is a research-based company that assists in coding education for young children,
the visually impaired and older adults. Learners learn the concept of CT(computational Thinking), a key principle of problem solving. Coboblocks were designed using a process of research, prototype production, and testing and feedback from educators and students.
The results of these studies have been published and verified through diverse international journals and international conferences.
