COBOBLOCKS, a physical scratch, has few market barriers in the North and South American markets, including the United States, because most people have learned or heard of MIT Scratch. COBOBLOCKS are a subset of MIT Scratch and have the same color, shape, and function as Scratch 3.0 (the latest version of Scratch).

COBO CO., Ltd. (COBO), the developer of COBOBLOCKS, has signed an MOU with The Poway Unified School District (https://www.powayusd.com). Through this MOU, both the PUSD and COBO provided an up-to-date Scratch Coding Education tool by electronic blocks and do pilot e-Block scratch coding tools to PUSD students. We completed a large-scale public pilot classes to all kindergarten and elementary schools including 26 elementary schools.

We are going to expand to the larger education offices, the LA USD, New York City Public schools, and the Texas public schools. If this happens, COBOBLOCKS will be used in public elementary schools and kindergartens across the United States. If there’s a company that wants to advertise to future customers in the United States, it can be made by designing the appearance of a robot car with a corporate commercial car model.

[2] Youtube to Amazon: Through PBS Reno television station

PBS Reno is a PBS member television station in Reno, Nevada, United States, owned by Channel 5 Public Broadcasting, Inc. COBOBLOCKS has been exported 3 times to PBS Reno as a STEM education tool.

PBS Reno Curiosity Classroom workshops reach more than 135,000 students in nine school districts in northern and central Nevada and northeastern California. In June this year, these COBOBLOCKS will be introduced, and we will launch products on Amazon for U.S. sales. We have already completed the preparation of trademark registration, Amazon account opening, and English manual/product detail pages for Amazon. The company plans to sell COBOBLOCKS on a large scale through U.S. Amazon.

Kenya is the central country of the East African Community (EAC). Kenya’s nickname is the “Pride of Africa,”.

A lot of progress has been made since a big milestone—COBOBLOCKS (https://coboblocks.com) has officially launched its first-ever coding program for children in Kenya! The main feature of COBOBLOCKS is 3 Free (Screen, Wi-Fi, Languages). That is, without computer system and monitor, whenever and wherever anyone can learn computer coding. In particular, anyone can intuitively learn coding, regardless of language, by using intuitive images instead of characters. Therefore, COBOBLOCKS must be the best coding kit for children in the African region.

It is said that COBOBLOCK coding program aligns very well with Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), which the government is actively implementing. So, the official approval of the COBOBLOCK coding program from the Kenyan Ministry of Education was applied and we are sure we will get it soon.

After obtaining permission from the MOE in Kenya, COBOBLOCK coding program will be expanded to all of Kenya. We intend to extend our successful COBOBLOCK coding program in Kenya to other countries in Africa, like Uganda, Tanzania, Congo, and South Africa etc.

[4] U.S. Patent of COBOBLOCKS

COBOBLOCKS’ U.S. patent relates to the invention and operation principle of electronic blocks for scratch programming. Therefore, similar products with functions or shapes similar to COBOBLOCKS are strongly protected by this U.S. patent. Both two OSMO’s patents and Makeblock’s patent refer the U.S. patent of COBOBLOKCS. Our U.S. patent takes precedence over the patents of these two companies.
